Pinball wizards everywhere rejoice! With Bumper Bash for the Atari 2600, you can now play your beloved game without leaving the safety and comfort of your living room!<br><br>Designed for one or two players in alternating turns, Bumper Bash employs the use of the Atari paddle controllers. Although the rotary knob itself is not used, the side buttons on the paddle controller adjust the plunger, fire the ball and control the flippers.<br><br>Like in real pinball, the object of this game is to score points by keeping the ball in play. You should avoid the two side drains as well as the gap between the two flippers. You are given five balls per game and can gain extra balls by hitting certain targets a required number of times using the same ball. Also, you can earn ball kickers that will keep your ball from exiting the playfield via the side drains.<br><br>Targets in this game include drop targets, bumpers, rollovers, and a bonus multiplier. In the center of the playfield lies a spinner. This rotates the target value from one to nine.<br><br>Unlike real pinball, you cannot "tilt" this game, so feel free to shake your Atari 2600 (or your television set) as much as you want.
